La Trobe University was the third university established in the state of Victoria and is one of the largest and fastest-growing universities in Australia. It offers students the opportunity to study in an international education city while learning from highly qualified academic staff. Since 2003, La Trobe University has consistently been ranked among the world’s top 500 universities by The Times and has recently moved into the top 250.

La Trobe University is particularly well recognised in the humanities and social sciences, while its law programs are highly regarded and ranked among the world’s top 20. It is also considered one of Australia’s top 10 universities in this field and has produced many notable figures in politics, society, and the arts, including a former Director-General of the WTO. The university also operates La Trobe College, its own pathway institution. Students who do not meet the direct entry requirements for degree programs may enter through a diploma pathway, which is another distinctive feature of the university.
