Today we bring you news about ANU International Achievement Award.
The Australian National University (ANU) has introduced the ANU International Achievement Award, which is one of the best scholarships for foreign students who want to study in Australia. What separates it? You don’t have to submit a separate application. All eligible international applicants are automatically taken into consideration for admission.
Six Nobel laureates have attended ANU, which is placed in the top 2% of universities worldwide (QS World University Rankings 2026). Studying there is already a fantastic opportunity, and this award makes it much more accessible.

The award is valid for up to 4 years and is renewed each year, covering the full duration of your undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
Who Is Eligible ?
- You must be an international student.
- You must be a new commencing student, or a continuing student who has received an offer of admission to a higher AQF level of studies (e.g. moving from a Bachelor’s to a Master’s).
- You must hold residential status in an eligible country (see exclusions below).
- You must meet the minimum academic entry requirements for your level of study.
- You must not be the recipient of an external sponsorship that covers all or part of your tuition fees at ANU.
- The award can only be offered once at each level of study, unless you are progressing from an undergraduate degree (AQF Level 7) to a one-year Honours program (AQF Level 8), or accepting a packaged offer.
Academic Requirements
- undergraduate applicants: a Selection Rank of 85 (or equivalent as determined by the University) or above, or the minimum program entry requirement for applicants who are citizens of a Pacific Region country; or
- postgraduate applicants: a minimum GPA of 5.5 (or equivalent), or the minimum program entry requirement for applicants who are citizens of a Pacific Region country.
Countries Excluded From The Award
Students holding residential status in the following countries are not eligible:
Students from India, the Philippines, Indonesia, and most other countries are fully eligible.
