Bachelor of Architecture
Architecture is the study of design, construction, and maintenance of buildings, encompassing a wide range of theoretical knowledge. Students learn architectural theory, design skills, building history, culture, New Zealand building codes and regulations, and practical skills to adapt to societal, technological, and environmental changes, including climate change.
Study pathways
To become a Registered Architect in New Zealand, students must complete a Bachelor of Architectural Studies followed by a Master of Architectural Studies (Professional).
