Free Service
Consultation, enrolment and airport pickup are all free.
SOL Edu & Migration does not charge consultation, enrolment or airport pickup fees for your study. We often hear the same question: “If it’s free, does that mean the service is less thorough?”
The answer is the opposite. Licensed immigration advisers based in New Zealand handle your enrolment and student visa directly, and our own offices in Seoul, Auckland and Christchurch support you locally right through to settlement. You can also follow every step in your personal MyPage at any time. Being free doesn’t mean hiding anything. It means being more transparent.
What is free?
From the start to the end of your study enrolment, there are no enrolment fees for students to pay.
- Free consultation: school selection, plus guidance on your study goals and visa strategy
- Free enrolment service: language school, early study, and university or postgraduate applications, through to your student visa application
- Free airport pickup: on arrival in New Zealand (Auckland and Christchurch)
You pay only the tuition fees set by your school. There are no separate fees payable to SOL for your study enrolment.
How is this possible?
SOL is an official agent for the schools and universities we work with. An official agent receives a service fee from the school, not from the student, so we do not charge students for enrolment.
- Tuition fees are paid by the student directly to the school or university
- We do not charge both the student and the school (no “double charging”)
Specific terms and conditions are available on request.
Who looks after your enrolment, and how?
Licensed immigration advisers on hand
Our licensed immigration advisers are based in-house, not outsourced. When a question about your visa or immigration options comes up, you can get the help you need straight away, with no hand-off to a third party. That is the difference between an agency that refers you to an adviser and one whose advisers are right there when you need them.
Official agent for 42 universities in New Zealand and Australia
42 universities in New Zealand and Australia recognise SOL as an official agent. Because we deal with schools directly, we handle things that are only possible through official channels, such as conditional offer negotiations and scholarship information.
Offices and local teams where you are
Local issues are best solved locally. SOL has offices in Auckland, Christchurch, Brisbane, Seoul and Bangkok, and local teams supporting students in markets such as the Philippines. Wherever you are starting from, you have people close by who understand your situation.
Track your process in real time
From school application status to visa progress and your submitted documents, you can check where your enrolment stands at any time. Nothing happens behind closed doors, and being free doesn’t change that.
Fees and exceptions, disclosed upfront
Enrolment deposit
We collect a NZ$200 deposit when your enrolment begins. It is a minimum safeguard so we can focus on students who intend to proceed, and it is refunded in full once your enrolment is completed.
Costs outside school enrolment
Costs you must pay directly to government or other external bodies are your responsibility. Typical examples are the student visa application fee, the medical examination for your visa, and international student insurance.
Australian university application fees
In Australia, some schools and universities charge their own application fee when you apply. The institution sets and collects this fee, and it applies only if you apply to that school.
Immigration visa applications
Immigration visa applications are a separate professional legal service from study enrolment, and separate fees apply. Our New Zealand licensed immigration advisers provide this service as formal legal work.
Where does your enrolment stand?
There’s no need to hunt for information in different places. One login to SOL MyPage shows how your school applications are going, how far your visa has progressed, and which documents you’ve submitted and which are still needed.
My school applications
See which schools you’ve applied to, how far each application has progressed, and whether an offer has been issued.
Current visa progress
See which stage your student visa is at while your adviser processes it, and what to wait for next.
View and download my files
Offer letters, receipts and other enrolment documents are stored in one place so you can open them any time.
Upload additional documents
Asked for more documents? Upload them straight from MyPage.
Don’t hesitate. Start with a free consultation.
There’s no cost to start. Whether you’re still deciding which school suits you, how to prepare your visa, or where to send your child, it’s fine to begin with only vague questions.
Our New Zealand-based licensed immigration advisers and our offices in Seoul, Auckland and Christchurch are with you from consultation through to settlement. When you request a consultation, your own MyPage is opened, and from then on you can follow every step of your enrolment yourself.
