Ara International Student Scholarship Details
- Offered by Ara Institute of Canterbury in Christchurch
- Total: 7 scholarships worth NZD $5,000 each
- For new international students starting a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Semester 2, July 2026
- Scholarship is applied toward the second year tuition fee
- Applicants must show:
- Strong academic results
- Leadership and positive contribution to the Ara community
- Interest in international and multicultural engagement
- Required documents:
- Online application
- Personal statement (max 500 words)
- Academic transcript
- Two referee reports (one should usually be from a tutor)
- Application period:

How to Apply
Students applying for Bachelor’s or Master’s programmes at Ara Institute of Canterbury by 31 May can submit their scholarship documents together with their application.
