About the school

ICL Business School is located in the heart of Auckland, with all essential facilities within a five-minute distance. It is part of the ICL Group, which includes AEA, Bridge, and New Horizon English academies, making it one of the largest private education providers in New Zealand. ICL Business School (formerly ACG Business School) acquired the International College of Linguistics in 2002, delivering high-quality academic and English programs. In April 2010, it acquired Auckland English Academy, one of New Zealand’s top English schools, and in 2012 merged with New Horizon College of English in Napier, further expanding its educational offerings.

ICL provides not only General English, IELTS, and TESOL programs, but also business, computing, and early childhood education diplomas (Level 5 and 6), Graduate Diplomas (Level 7), Postgraduate Diplomas (Level 8), and the Master of Business Informatics (MBI) program (Level 9).

  • Master of Business Informatics (MBI) Level 9 – Popular program combining business and IT, enabling graduates to pursue careers in both fields. Level 8 courses include eight subjects (15 credits each), followed by a Level 9 research thesis (45 credits). The 16-month program consists of one year of coursework and exams, followed by four months of supervised research and thesis completion. Graduates receive a 3-year job search visa and, including study time, a total of 5 years of spouse work visa and dependent tuition exemptions.
