NZ Recommend Majors

In Korea, pharmacists own their pharmacies and handle nearly everything themselves — counselling patients and filling hospital prescriptions. In New Zealand, however, most pharmacies operate as community pharmacies, where registered Pharmacy Technicians work alongside pharmacists under their supervision. This role may be unfamiliar to Koreans, but many of the tasks a Korean pharmacist would do — seeing patients and dispensing medication — are carried out by Pharmacy Technicians in New Zealand, making the role quite similar to that of a pharmacist in practice.
