Hamilton has a population of around 120,000 and is located about a 1.5-hour drive from Auckland. It offers an ideal living environment with clean, pollution-free air and a mild climate, featuring pleasant temperatures of 20–28°C in summer and 10–18°C in winter. Established in 1924, Wintec operates across four distinct campuses. The City Campus is located in downtown Hamilton and offers programs in Business, IT, Nursing, Media, and English. The Avalon Campus, situated just a 10-minute drive from the city center, hosts courses in Trades, Automotive, Sports, Engineering, and Culinary Arts. Additionally, the Hamilton Campus serves as our Horticulture and Landscaping Education Centre, featuring its own extensive, beautifully maintained gardens.
